My Future Job (?)

Hi guys!

Today I’m writing about of my dreamed future job… finally a simple question!

I think when I finish the University I like to work in the restoration of many different pieces of art. In general this is a job indoor, because the pieces need a special condition for his conservation but you can travel around the world if the pieces are in other countries. I will like travel around the world for my job.

In this moment I am student of Theory and history of Art, in this career I have class of restoration but is not enough if I would like be a professional in this area. For this reason I think is necessary study some kind of post grade after this career, for example, a master grade. I would like be a specialist in textile art, restoration of paper or oil paints. I like the restoration of ceramic too.

For study of restoration is ideally travel to Europe, for example Italy, France or Spain because the most of the pieces was made in this continent and the technic of restoration was born here. In Latin America some of the most important countries in this area are Mexico and Peru because they have a strong love for his tradition and for this reason they pretend keep this his master pieces in the time.

Contemporary art :/

Hi guys! 

Today I'm talking about of Contemporary Art. I think it is a very complicated subject because I never felt that I understand this period, the temporal distance is so small. But I can say that the Contemporary Art is not a complete change of material, actually technics are the same, the change is in the justification of the works is a change of language. In many cases the artist, mixture, classical technics for created a new work or make new questions about of Art or the society.

For this reasons, I think I will to talking about of the Textile Art, because, this is one of the most traditional forms of expression and his evolution to the Contemporary Art made to the Textil Art one of the most wonderful expression of colour and form, although this kind of art is considered by some people like craftwork. 

Some of technics that the artist used for created his works are, the Upholstery, Shibori, Batik, Felt and many others. One of the artist that I love is Rowland Rickett, his works are a mixture of the the Felt and Shibori techniques. I think his work is so harmonic and beautiful.

The best concert!

Hi! Today I'm talking about of the best concert where I went. The truth is, i didn’t go to many concerts, so I don’t have many experiences for telling you.  But I remember when with my family we went to the Viña Festival in the year 2007. I remember especially this concert because all of the siblings of my mom and his families were assembled in Viña, in the house of my uncle.  We went to the Tom Jones’s night because this night apart of this singer, played other group that my family loves, Los Bunkers! One part that I hate is when the singer Mario Guerrero was on the stage, he is so boring!! more than the competition part. Tome Jones was amazing. I remember a couple next to us, they loved Tom Jones, She was pregnant, for this reason after his show They went back home.


The concert in general was god; I saw many famous people and not so famous people too. It was very funny. Before the visit I thought the Quinta Vergara is the biggest theatre on free air, but really is so small.
