My Favotite Artist

Hi guys!

 

TODAY Im talking about of my favourite artist, he is, Antoni Gaudi. He is a Catalan architect, is a more representative of the Catalan modernism. I love his work because are full of colours and his buildings contain nature shapes. One of his most important works is "La Sagrada Familia", it is a catholic basilica located in Barcelona, today is unfinished, Gaudi died before complete his work. I think that is a beautiful building, the nature shapes make this an amazing construction, because all of these details no disturb his functionality. This is other characteristic of his work, all of them are designed for beautiful and useful.
One example for this intention is a Batlló house.
Inside this is a house completely useful, out side the house have many nature shapes and many colours that the house becoming just a show.
 For the last, the people said that the shapes in a house remember the history of the Saint George and the Dragon. In this case the roof is a fallen dragon and the balconies are the victims skulls.

Films...

Hi guys!
Today i talking about of films, as well as the music, is dificult choose one kind of films, because even the horror films have one intresting thing that force you to see them, althought some horror films are realy terribles.

I think if I were to make a list with my kind of favorite films, i said:
 the firts place is for films that talking about the past historical periods, for example "Agora" or "Pride and Prejudice.

The second place is for the animation films, especialy movies of Hayao Miyasaki, por example, "The Howl´s moving castle or "Porco Rosso".

In a third place, movies are talking about the fantastic worlds or science fiction, for example "The lord of the ring", "Bicentennial Man" or "Back to the future"even the last one is a cult science fiction film.

Honorable mention for the musical and the cult movies, i like so much but some times is not easy find them.

Finaly, the truth is that the directors are not so important for me, but i like the movies by Tarantino (Pulp fiction, Kill Bill, etc), Wes Anderson (The Royal Tenenmbaums, Fantastic mr Fox, etc), Tim Burton (Sleepy hollow, Charlie and the chocolate Factory) and, of course, Hayao Miyasaki <3

Photograph!

Hi everyone!

Today I write about the photographs and who that, equal at the technology invade the world. In class when us speak about this, the teacher said, that phenomenon is because the people have scared to the new things and that is the way to be related with this new things. Is the same that put a wall. I think parts of this is truth, but the pictures are the way that the people remember important moments too.
 The picture I choose is for remember. In that photograph appear two of my best friends and I, was taken in the beach of Tome in Concepcion, for other of my friends, Aaron. I like this picture because, makes me feel happy and makes me remember the summer with my friends. I think is a beautiful photograph too, because is the moment of the day when the sun go down and this effect is reflected in the colours of the picture.

Gabriel García Márquez

Hi guys!

 Today is time to talk about of García Márquez. He was a Colombian writer, his style is denominated Realismo Mágico.
 The firts García Márquez´s book I read is "El amor en los tiempos del cólera", when i remember this book, i think i don´t like too much, is difficult to me believe in this love. My parents love this history, for this reason i read this book in first place... Anyway, after that i decide read "100 años de soledad", because sometime is not good keep the firsts impressions.. well i don't know why, but the history of the family in the book catch me, is an amazing.. have everything a good story should have: drama, love and magic.
I think it was a great writer, i dont know if realy created a new style but is evident that his book influenece a new generation of writers.

Choosing a new computer

Hi guys!

 Today is a day.... remember the last week?, the talk about technology?, well today I speak about the reason for a choose a new computer and a new desk.

The first is a need a new one, because the other is very old and he turn slow. The second reason is, this is the activity for week.

Before!!, is necesary said, that election have a conditions:

1. The coust of computer should not be higher than $800 dolars (448.000 chilean pesos aprox.)

2 The price of the desk should not be superior than $200 dolars (112.000 chilean pesos aprox).

3. The computer should be a desk top computer.

 I don´t know very much about the computers, but the HP´s are a secure mark, I think that is good, and the computer processing unit is a Intel Core-i3 and his hard drive capacity is the 500 GB... in english, the computer is faster and have a good capacity for save data.

 I love this desk because my bethroom is so small and I need furnishings comfortables, funcionalitys, prettys and that use bit space, for all that, this desk is perfect.

Technology

Hi everyone!

Today is time to talk about the technology. The reality is.. I don't have many pieces of technology I don't like much, but I accept that now is impossible think the life without them"... The pieces when I used more are the notebook and my cell, of course. The first, is principally for write my university works but also use the notebook to see movies, play many games and talk speak with my school friends. The cell is more important because without that I never know the hour or what is the day of the week... my cell wake up to me in the morning, I can take many funny pictures with them and with my cell I speak with my mom because she don't use the computer...well is so important to me.

My Career

Hi!

Today i speak about my career... This semester i have many subject about of the History of Art, and i love it. Let me explain. In the 3th grade you can choise your subjects, for this reson i have only History subjects. Is dificult explain, but i like history because she lets me connect with the remote cultures and i think that is very intresting. Other thing about this semester are the internships, i applied for one in the investigation departmen of the Museo de Arte Contemporáneo. Well i have participated in other activitis in the Univertisty, but not this period, because i not have many time.
